I deeply appreciate the manner in which Gauri designs her classes which is a good blend of yoga, home remedies and guidance for such a special journey of motherhood. Throughout this journey, she has been a friend full of positivity and not only a yoga trainer but I would say a healer. It was a tough time for me personally but was blessed to meet her who has guided me throughout my journey of motherhood. After her sessions, I would feel spiritually polished as though I have experienced a deep form of prayer. She begins the class by drawing attention inward, to a purespace. She can lead others into a powerful weave of integration allowing mind, body and spirit to come into right alignment. Nine months' journey is not only for the moms-to-be but also about the dads-to-be. Gauri has been a guide for my family throughout this journey and is still part of my roller coaster ride of raising my son. I have felt a shift in my inner being. I felt that I have moved my spiritual practice to a deeper level as I progressed in the journey with help and guidance of Gauri. She is naturally gifted to be selfless and devoted to yoga and the wellbeing of others. Her ability to cover all aspects is quite astonishing. As I see this as a blessing to have Gauri beside me on my Motherhood journey, I would strongly recommend her to make others’ journey spiritual and healthy.

Pregnancy Yoga:
Everyone is aware these days that Yoga is considered very good for health, however, when we conceived, we were worried about where we should go and whom we should approach. Will the trainer understand us and guide us in the right direction? Luckily, we came to know about Gauri A. Koustubhan through my husband’s friend circle. After a few discussions over the calls, we felt comfortable to join her classes. I was already at the end of my 5th month of pregnancy and was suffering with a lot of issues like nausea, mood swings, morning sickness, stress, anxiety and honestly, was not interested in any of the activities as I felt that I won’t be able to do any work. The first thing that made me comfortable with Gauri was the way she explained about how beautiful and wonderful the phenomena is - the growth of a baby in the womb of her mother. Another very important thing that she told me, which brought a huge difference in my thinking, was that “a pregnant woman is not a patient. It is a special time in any woman’s life and the most joyful experience ever”. She does a very detailed and thorough counselling, which brought down my anxiety to a great extent. I was taught about meditation and safe exercises, which helped me in improving my mental and physical health. I can say that this decision of undergoing the Prenatal Yoga training with Gauri worked wonders for me and my family!Postpartum Yoga:
After the birth of my baby, yet again, life has changed completely. It is a new phase. Again, I became restless and felt overwhelmed. Several things going on in my mind - how to take care of the baby, how to align my new responsibility with the family requirements, which suggestions to consider and which ones to ignore for the benefit of the baby, etc. Lots of stress and confusion. Usually the new parents go through this phase. I spoke with Gauri again and joined her Postpartum classes once my baby was 5 months old. I was clearly and freely able to explain my concerns. In fact, Gauri is very good at getting to the core of the issue. As a guide/mentor/friend, she gave solutions to all of my problems through exercises and few practices that I could follow. She helped me understand what kind of food habits should be followed for both, mother and the baby; how to interact with the baby; baby’s health and growth milestones etc. Now my baby, Aaradya, who is one year old, actually exhibits some of the Yoga poses which I used to practise during pregnancy, all by herself - naturally. I and my husband, Ramesh, are happy and highly satisfied with the results of Pre as well as Post natal Yoga under Gauri’s guidance. I personally feel thankful to Gauri for helping with my confidence level during this period and even now.

Motherhood!!! A precious gift given by nature to women. Being blessed with parenthood is one of the most priceless moments. I was also feeling like any other woman who gets to know that she is going to be blessed with motherhood. I was filled with mixed emotions, like happiness, excitement & some fear also. Lots of things were running at the back of my mind to do for my precious little one. And that’s when I decided to take help from yoga & Mrs. Gauri Koustubhan to reduce pain & uneasiness felt during pregnancy. Attending yoga sessions daily helped me lead toward a more positive frame of mind. It also helped me feel better movement of my fetus. Yoga sessions by Gauri also helped me deal with the mood swings during pregnancy. It also helped to keep my weight in check post pregnancy. Gauri di, as I call her, guides very nicely and helps us understand the true meaning of each ‘yoga asanas’, which ultimately leads towards happier thoughts. This is what any ‘to-be-mother‘ wants, isn’t it? Yoga is the best
